Does Christianity need to develop a new gospel adapted to todays world?

The Gospel is Truth. Truth never changes. Truth does not need to change. Churches do need to alter the delivery method to put it in terms the modern day generation can understand and relate too. For example we all think we know who the Good Samaritan was. However let me suggest that most really don’t. We know the Good Samaritan was a good guy who helped someone in need while the religious leaders of that day ignored the guy in need. However how many of us understand the Racial Hatred the 1st century Jewish people felt toward the Samaritans? What would it be like for a white preacher to go to Selma, Alabama in the 1950s and preach a sermon about the “Good N i g g er”? Now that N word I just used, I had to spell with spaces in it or the Yahoo sensors would not allow its use. It is an offensive term and I realize that, but when the first century Jewish people heard Jesus talk about the Good Samaritan, that word “Samaritan” was a racially charged, negative slur word, much like that N word
