A. Yes, all applicants wishing to progress in the application process must submit a Secondary Application. Once we receive your verified application from AMCAS, we will send an email message requesting payment of a nonrefundable $80 Secondary Application Fee. Applicants receive access to the CHM Applicant Information System (CHM AIS) and the Secondary Application upon payment of the fee. The Secondary Application consists of three essay questions. Applicants also have the option to complete essays for the Rural Physician Program (RPP). Please visit the RPP web page for detailed information. The deadline for submitting your Secondary Application is November 15, 2011. However, we encourage submission of your Secondary Application within two weeks of paying the Secondary Application Fee. The deadline for submission of the Secondary Application for EDP (Early Decision Program) applicants is August 31, 2011.
