For everyones information:] 1 One Child policy still in effect. Still a population problem. 2 New rules state farmers are allowed a 2nd child if first was a girl to further help prevent anyone from harming thier child. 3 All ethnic minorities (ie Tibetans, Mongolians, Xinjiang, etc…) may have as many children as they want. 4 Abortion is pushed by the government but not enforced. A fine is given. Rich people will often have more babies as they can afford it. 5 If a foreigner marries a Chinese person they can have as many babies as they want. Personal opinion you ask? I think giving farmers more babies is a bad idea. They cannot afford to educate them and it creates more poor people especially as there are already too many farmers. I am of course fully in favour of a strict one child policy for everyone. Even everyone in the world.
