Does China or India present the better set of opportunities in the tech space?
People like to compare China and India as they are two of the fastest-growing emerging markets in the world and are expected to become the largest technology markets. But I think the similarities stop there. China and India are two very different economies with two distinctly different technology sectors. China has a much larger domestic technology market compared with India, while India remains fairly export-oriented when it comes to technology. Chinese technology firms are more hardware-oriented, and Indian companies tend to offer services and software. In China, we tend to invest in the domestically oriented technology companies, while in India, we are largely focusing on global IT services companies.
