Does chemical peeling or laser treatment work?
Short answer is yes, with a caveat. While you may get rid of the age spots immediately after the treatment, they may reappear a few months down the line. Then you have to undergo the same treatment again. And the cycle will go on as long as you do not do something to prevent age spots from occurring. It’s also important to note that these treatments work by destroying the skin cells in the immediate vicinity of the age spot. This can leave behind some white lines and scars, which I’m sure you would want to avoid.
