Does Charice owe us gratitude for our support?
In my opinion, no, she doesn’t. That should be optional. I should like to think that we offer our support to her because we love and appreciate her for the magnificent being that she is. I would even go so far as to say that we owe her… for every moment of pride and joy that she had brought, and continue to bring into our lives… for the gifts that she constantly gives us… every achievement, every accolade, every breathtaking performance, every standing ovation, every applause, every heart-stopping mic toss, every hair-raising perfect note, and every blessed occasion that an emcee utters the name of our country with apparent respect and admiration, as they introduce Charice. Every time Charice stands in front of any audience in whatever part of the world, she does not just represent her self, or her country, she also represents each and everyone of us and somehow reminds us that there is greatness within each of us.
