No, but combined use of the two does offer the richest Chandler experience. Chandler Desktop works with Chandler Server, with WebDAV servers and a range of CalDAV servers. Chandler Server works with Chandler Desktop, Apple iCal 2 and 3, Mozilla Lightning/Sunbird and a range of other applications.
