Does champagne lose its bubbles in a champagne fountain?
Yes it does and very quickly, which is why you will never see champagne fountains at better weddings. Often you will see champagne glasses stacked into a pyramid and filled by pouring champagne into the top single glass and allowing the liquid to cascade down into the lower glasses. This simulates the fountain effect but wastes a lot of champagne and results in wet glasses.
