Does cervical cancer hurt? .?
It is said to be one of the most painful of all cancers. In my short Nursing career thus far, I have never seen a cervical cancer death, however my Gran did die of Cervical Cancer. I wasn’t with her at the exact moment she died, but I got there about 10 minutes after and I’ll never forget the sheer look of horror and expression of pain on her face. I was actually relieved she had passed away, so her suffering was no more. Sometimes the pain relief doesn’t always take all the pain away. The cells that exist in our body have a limited life-span. They die and are then replaced. This is actually controlled by our genes. If our genes malfuction for some reason (due to a genetic anomaly or the effects of carcinogens) cancer cells will divide too fast resulting in uncontrolled growth which will damage the body’s healthy tissues.
