Does Cellvizio work only with transgenic animals?
No, Cellvizio works with both transgenic animals and a wide range of commercially available fluorophores that can be exogenously introduced. Several of the publications citing Cellvizio have used exogenous fluorophores such as Cell Tracker Green, YO-PRO1, FITC Dextran, Rhodamine 123, DiO, OGB1, etc. Please refer to the product literature for the laser excitation wavelengths available for Cellvizio and their corresponding fluorescence collection bandwidths.
