Yes it does. Unrestricted free-market capitalism is foolish. American citizens can simply look to the healthcare, pharmaceutical and oil industries as evidence. These companies and their CEO’s are making BILLIONS yet have the audacity to not invest in infrastructure improvements (oil industry), and charge exorbitant amounts of money for their product (health and drug companies) .

Absolutely. That’s why people have formed societies, laws and governments to quell the abuses of greed and gluttony inherent in capitalism. It was the excesses of the Capitalist Robber Barons which created the need for Anti-trust laws, for laws against child labor, and for countervailing employee power of unions. Neocons obviously have made a concerted effort to dismantle these protections. One way has been to take away our jobs and send them somewhere else. Now we can’t even provide Necessary goods for ourselves. Our Military’s bullets come from Taiwan and our rice goes to China.
