Does Canadian Culture Exist?
{ As a Canadian, a common phrase-question often heard is, “What is Canadian Culture?” Noted, as things people would want to know before visiting Canada, this question has been taken into extreme consideration. Surely, coming from a person whose country withholds a cultural history, this is a simple enough question to ask, but what about Canada? Countries such as Italy, Germany, Japan, India, and many others all have well defined cultures saturated in hundreds if not thousands of years of traditions, customs and language. But does Canada have a culture? The original Canadian settlers still maintain certain aspects of their culture, such as language, traditional music, dance and art, but the Inuit culture didn’t really catch on in the southern regions of the country.
