Does Cacao have “doll faced” Persians or Himalayans?
There is no such thing as a “doll-faced” Persian or Himalayan. The term “doll-face” was coined by breeders who are breeding cats that do not meet any of the show standards of the main registries of cats (CFA, TICA, ACFA, FIFE, ect). These breeders are breeding cats for essentially one purpose – to make kittens to sell. While these kittens are no doubt remarkably cute, and some are even bred carefully with respect to pedigrees and health, many are not. Please remember “buyer beware” when you are looking for a Persian or Himalayan kitten that is called a “doll face”. Many show catteries sometimes produce kittens with longer noses – these kittens are still wonderful kittens, and make wonderful pets. Since most show catteries have to pay close attention to their lines (to avoid inbreeding), these kittens are often more healthy.
