No. Netiquette doesn’t require that permission be obtained prior to linking to another website as long as the link is to the other website’s home page. As a matter of fact, Google (www.google.com), the webs premier meta search engine, rates sites higher if they receive links from other websites in the same category. When a webmaster learns that his/her site has a link on our website, he/she usually reciprocates by giving a link back to us.
