It shows that whatever humanity of the cross-burners remains is severely degraded. Many of the intended targets of cross burnings were good Christians and in no way were degraded.

Not if the person burning the cross is ‘Christian’ himself and doing it to denigrate a black person, an Atheist, a Democrat, a Mexican, anybody they don’t like, anybody they don’t agree with, anybody they’re afraid of
