Yes. The Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas unanimously approved Brookhaven College’s application for initial accreditation of an Associate Degree Nursing Program. Approval from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s Community and Technical Colleges Division also has been received. Brookhaven College’s first nursing class of 30 students was admitted fall 2004.
