Does Brock Lesnar have the ability to be UFC heavyweight champ??
Even if Lesnar had beaten Mir, Brock still would have 3 or 4 fights ahead of him before he gets a title shot. He def. has work to do. He is great on the ground and has great power to get people to the ground and then pound the hell out of em. But he needs to work on his submission defense (that was the slowest heel hook i have ever seen and IDK how Lesnar could just stand there and do nothing), his stand up, and advancing his position when he is on the ground. Brock seems to not want to advance his position because he feels he’s that good. I think he could win the title eventually but he has a lot of people to go through. If Mir goes against a fighter who is great on the ground, or great on their back, Mir is going to have problems. Brock’s strength is on the ground, but if he goes against a Nogueira, a Monson, or even a Vera, I think he could have a problem. What I want to see is Brock Lesnar vs. Cain Velasquez. This kid is just out of college as a big time NCAA wrestler. Many critics
