The Vintners Quality Alliance (VQA) is an Appellation of Origin system by which consumers can identify wines of Canada based on the origin of the grapes from which they are produced. By using VQA, Canada joins other leading wine-producing countries in developing a regulatory body that sets high standards for its wines.
