Does Brian Eno hate Radiohead?
Total speculation, but if he feels that way it MAY go a little something like this: I want to say that Eno did a bunch of Talking Heads stuff, who were a huge influence of Radiohead’s (among other things that I am sure he had a hand in, I know there are other things, but I don’t want to go off the top of my head and give out anything incorrect, for instance, I’m almost positive he did work with Bowie and Lou Reed, but I’m not absolutely sure). I haven’t heard that personally, but I suppose there is a possible foundation for things that maybe he recognizes that we don’t. I can hear the influence, but I don’t hear anything that I would consider ripping them off. Eno had a (it’s a bit of a stretch but) Radiohead type reputation before there was a Radiohead, and Kid-A is definitely their most Eno like record.
