Does Braybrook & Britten design and produce the items in the catalogue and on the website?
Yes. Or rather, a very large proportion of it is designed and produced either by us or for us to our specifications. Quite a few of our own designs have been exhibited at Goldsmith’s Hall and the Braybrook & Britten hallmark is struck in both London and Edinburgh Assay offices . Of course silversmithing is a small community and we have a number of associate designers and makers who produce things specifically for our catalogue. Many of these people are very well known and you can see their work in museums like the V&A, not to mention many of the more expensive retailers such as Asprey etc.
