Does BoxCloud work behind NATs and firewalls?
Yes. BoxCloud has been tested with most common NAT and firewall configurations and should just work out of the box. You don’t have to open any ports or reconfigure your router to use BoxCloud. When you first start BoxCloud, look for the connection status in the system tray. If the BoxCloud icon turns blue, you’re set and ready to go. If your status indicator stays gray, please drop us a line and we’d love to try and figure out what’s going on. You can also run a connection test which is a menu option when you click the system tray icon which will tell you whether your BoxCloud is accessbile or not.
