Does BounceBack® Professional software support server backup?
BounceBack® Professional is designed for client backup primarily. It will handle some small server environments, but does not handle enterprise environments where applications such as Exchange or SQL are in play. BounceBack® Professional needs to have all user applications closed and all files available in order to create a successful backup, therefore, client backup is the preferred environment for the solution. For server backup, CMS offers BounceBack Enterprise Server edition. This version of BounceBack can be installed on Windows Server 2003. It is not designed to handle open-file backup for applications like SQL or Exchange, but works well for document and folder backup, in addition to creating a bootable server backup.
