Does Boston Salads make garden salads?
No. There isn’t a single head of lettuce in our whole building. What does “hand-packed” mean? Every single pound of salad at Boston Salads is scooped into containers by REAL people. We don’t use machines to package our products. Why? Because we want to constantly monitor our salads to make sure that you are getting potato salad – not potato soup. Can anyone purchase directly from Boston Salads? Yes, all of our salads are available in five pound containers, we also have ten and thirty pound buckets. All orders should be called in the day before pick up at 617.541.9040. We accept cash only – sorry no credit cards or personal checks. How many people does a five pound bucket feed? A general portion is 1/4 of a pound or 4 ounces, each bucket contains twenty 4 ounce servings. If you are feeding children or making finger sandwiches you can expect up to 40 servings per container. Do you make anything else besides salads? Yes! We make many different kinds of side dishes – check out our product
