About the same time that Imus was suspended and later fired for his disparaging comments about the Rutgers University women’s basketball team, Clevelanders heard WTAM AM/ 1100’s Mike Trivisonno declare April “White History Month.” The daily bits consist of an item read in an exaggerated black voice. WMJI FM/ 105.7’s John Lanigan implied that he lives in Bay Village because so few blacks live there.
