Does B ai Israel offer Bar and Bat Mitzvahs?
B’nai Israel offers all the religious services and ceremonies other congregations offer – including B’nai Mitzvah services. We are committed to children’s education, and our Religious School will prepare our children to become B’nai Mitzvah candidates. We will have a list of approved tutors to teach the Torah and Haftarah portions; and the Bar or Bat Mitzvah will take place during a Saturday morning service. Until we have a Rabbi or a student Rabbi, our Para-Rabbinic Leader – Stan Friedman will officiate.
