Does Blogads send any tax documents?
We have been told by the IRS that advertising sales are a kind of service that does not require the preparation of 1099s or any kind of tax reporting from us to the IRS. Consequently, we send them – or you – no information. You can, however, put together the information you need for your taxes based on the Accounting page within blogads. You will find the link to this page towards the bottom of the Manage My Adstrips page, underneath the list of adstrips.

At the same time, sponsorship revenues need to be reported on a 1099 form. If you are getting close to the $600 reporting threshold from sponsorship revenues in the current calendar year, you will hear from us and we will require a w9 form before we can send any more payments to you.
