No, slowing of growth is not the problem as hair growth is affected by other things, including the state of your scalp. Only if the bleach damages your scalp can it be a threat to hair growth itself. HOWEVER, when referring to damaging the strand, damage is in fact inevitable, the best thing you can do is minimise the appearance of the damage by using deep conditioning treatments and hair gloss.
