Biocell conducts stem cell research through it’s parent company CordLife Ltd, who hold a major investment in a Victorian biotechnology company, Cytomatrix Pty. Ltd. Cytomatrix is jointly owned by Deakin University and Barwon Health, and collaborates with a range of stem cell biotechnology companies worldwide to encourage and support research that could lead to new ways of using stem cells in the medical treatment of people with illness and disease.
