Does Bio-Safe® Skin Shield™ lotion replace gloves?
Bio-Safe® Skin Shield™ antibacterial lotion provides a secondary layer of protection under gloves, against both chemicals and pathogens. If one were to have a cut or scrape on their hand at the same place where there is a defect in the glove, Bio-Safe® Skin Shield™ lotion’s polymer coating on the skin would provide a successful layer of protection. In low-risk environments, Bio-Safe® Skin Shield™ lotion can replace gloves. However, in high-risk environments such as hospitals, food preparation establishments, or mechanic shops, it is best to wear Bio-Safe® Skin Shield™ lotion under gloves.
