Does bingeing and purging only after smoking pot make me bulimic?
Since you haven’t given the proper details to answer this question correctly, what I can tell from your description is that what you haven’t isn’t exactly bulimia. Bulimia is commonly misunderstood; people think that if you eat normally and then make yourself throw up, you are bulimic. It doesn’t work that way. In order to be classified as bulimic, you have to have been self-inducing vomiting, or taking laxatives or over-exercising after binging, which would mean eating a large amount of food, more than one would normally eat in one sitting at least twice a week for 3 or more months. What you have would be ED-NOS (Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified). This is when you have an eating disorder that doesn’t fall under any of the eating disorder categories such as anorexia, bulimia, compulsive overeating, etc. However, your problem CAN escalate into bulimia, easily. You’ll find that you’ll get urges to binge and purge even when you aren’t high eventually, even if you say you won’t. If
