Does bi-carbonate of soda make seagulls explode when fed to them?
No To make larger birds explode you need to give them calcium dicarbide which works far more effectively and actually fills them very rapidly with a gas called an alkyne which not only causes massive internal expansion but also, interestingly enough, is highly explosive! For small birds you cant beat grains of rice which slowly expand having the same but less dramatic effect. Can i qualify this by saying that this is only theoretical and please dont hurt any nice birdies!
