Does BFA pay salaries to its teachers and staff?
No. BFA is operated by a group of “participating missions” and all staff members are sent by their agency. They receive their salaries, health insurance, pension contributions and all other financial remuneration from their sending agency. The amounts are set by each agency independently of the others. In most cases, the staff member must obtain this financial support from churches and individuals who make contributions to the agency on behalf of the missionary.
