Does Bernie Macs Death Signal a Bad Santa Curse?
Bernie Mac, like John Ritter, suffered a death that came out of nowhere- though there was some warning beforehand. Ritter died from a condition that struck suddenly, whereas Mac started suffering health problems a week before his actual death. Mac had sarcoidosis and inflammatory lung disease that was detected in 2005, whereas doctors could not detect Ritter’s condition. But Mac’s sudden pheumonia came from nowhere, since it now appears it was not related to the sarcoidosis. Mac’s condition is different from Ritter’s because Mac lingered longer, and many people thought Mac might have died the week before. When reports finally came out that Mac was alive, it was then thought that Mac would recover. It was only then that Mac died.
