Does benzoyl peroxide cause wrinkles?
Well, benzoyl peroxide kills the bacteria that causes acne by generating free radicals (oxygen molecules). Bacteria can’t thrive in an oxygen-rich environment however, these oxygen molecules — these free radicals — are unstable. They steal an electron from your skin molecules and then these skin molecules become unstable and steal from other skin molecules and basically, it’s like a domino effect. All of this, of course, results in damaged skin. There is other option also to get rid of wrinkles that is to use natural wrinkle creams which didn’t cause any side effects!!!

On a personal note, the lower half of my face, which is where I’ve been using benzoyl peroxide for 20 years, looks better than where I haven’t.
