Does being a minority help with college admissions?

0

You have a strong resume for college so far…if you keep it up, you’ll be demonstrating that you are smart enough and motivated enough to handle college. Now I’m wondering what you really want to do with your life. An ivy league school is going to want you to be able to demonstrate that you can handle the academic program at the school, sure. But they are also going to want to know where you are going in life and how the school is going to help you get there, too. (And the ironic part is that once you figure that out, you may no longer want to go to an ivy league school!) Don’t worry it you don’t know just yet. But in all the experiences of the next few years in high school, try to figure out those things that you are passionate about, and how your education is going to help you. Then your education will really mean something, rather than simply trying to get smarter for the sake of getting smarter.
