In the past we have experienced delayed inbound e-mail delivery during isolated instances of excessive “spam storms.” Since e-mail is typically not a real time means of communication, the delays were rarely noticed or otherwise an inconvenience to our customers. However, it is projected that the volume of Spam will continue to increase substantially, and thus we are putting into place hardware and software which will much more efficiently handle the current peak Spam volume – which may in fact become tomorrow’s average Spam volume.
