Could you have a dumber question? Why not ask if Batman and Superman should be friends or should Bruce Wayne really be fighting crime since he is a victim. Of course he should be, he is the brains of the JLA even when he is not a full time member. Read the Grant Morrison storyline where he is captured by Darkseid who conquers Earth and turns Las Vegas into Desaads personal torture city where no one ever leaves. Batman spends 30-50 years there until he gets Desaad to torture himself. I think it was Rock of Ages or maybe WW III from the late 90’s. Not having BATMAN in the league is like the Hockey Hall of fame without Mario Lemieux.
