Does BADGE SE support NIBRS (National Incident Based Reporting)?
Yes. BADGE SE includes the capability to capture, validate, and report NIBRS data according to the Federal guidelines. The validation of your NIBRS data is the key to any successful IBR system implementation. Many products on the market claim to “capture” NIBRS data, but they do not “validate” it. BADGE SE allows users to validate individual incident reports when they are completed. During validation a series of over 400 programmed checks are run on your report to verify it complies with NIBRS standards. If any information is missing or if an entry error has been made, the user is alerted so that corrections can be made. Validation is also done in a batch process at the end of the month when your monthly NIBRS agency report is run.
