Does AVIA DVD use Copy Protection Signals?

0

No. We wanted AVIA’s video test signals to be as accurate and free of distortion as possible. Although copy protection signals are purported not to affect displays, we’ve found that they do interfere with the normal function of some displays. Our users often have sophisticated video switching and processing equipment that may also be adversely affected. Rather than compromise the integrity of AVIA’s test signals, we at Ovation Multimedia decided to omit copy protection signals from AVIA DVD. In return, we ask that you not copy AVIA DVD. Doing so is unfair to the many individuals who worked on this disc, a violation of copyright law, and results in many problems.
