Does AutoTMF determine where business transactions begin and end? Will it keep my database consistent from a business viewpoint?

AutoTMF does not claim to understand what a business transaction is. However, the natural locking and unlocking behavior of an application normally causes AutoTMF to commit transactions at the end of a business transaction. AutoTMF transactions do not span multiple processes.
