Does Australia Post issue passports?
Australia Post provides a range of passport services on behalf of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade includingapplications and renewals for Australian passports, distribution of application forms, applicant interviews, collection of passport fees and delivery of passport documents. The service is only offered at selected post offices. In 2009, Australia Post became the first non-British Government agency anywhere in the world to be granted the ability to accept British passport applications.
