No they’re both independent countries. The Queen is the head of state of Australia, Canada and New Zealand and can technically dismiss the government through her representative, the governor general. But this is purely a reserve power and she takes advice from the true leader of each country, the elected Prime Minister. She will remain head of state until each country decides to become a republic. Votes on this have taken place from time to time, but so far the people of each country still wish her to remain their head of state. No English speaking country, other than some UK territories like the Falkland Islands, Gibraltar ‘belong’ to the UK.
