I don’t believe it’s 100% IEEE754 Compliant via their FAQ: http://ati.amd.com/technology/streamcomputing/faq.html#6 They also talk about rounding in this FAQ. Yes, the 3870/3850 do double precision. The FireStream SDK offers both Brook+ and CAL. I believe that Brook+ uses CAL as a backend. I believe that double precision for Brook+ was just added in the latest BETA release, the FireStream SDK is still in BETA and the official release is suppose to be this month.
