Few things in the SIP world don’t. Interop quirks are a leading problem with SIP. In our experience, Asterisk has one of the most tolerant, flexible and generally interoperable SIP stacks out there. It seems that Asterisk is more likely to play well with another vendor’s SIP implementation in an average case than another proprietary implementation.
