Some common leguminous crop plants and weeds are also hosts, including yellow sweet clover (Melilotus officinalis), vetch (Vicia dasycarpa), medic (Medicago arborea), lupine (Lupinus hirsutus), green and kidney bean (Phaseolus vulgaris), and lima and butter bean (Phaseolus lunatus). Corn and other grain crops are not hosts to Asian soybean rust.
