You will feel a pinch when they give you the local anesthesia. For most doctors, you will be awake during the entire procedure, so as the anesthesia starts to wear off, and you start to feel what they are doing, you can let the doctor know and he will give you more. No need to be afraid, just make sure you pick a doctor who you feel you can trust. What the doctors don’t tell you: When you are done with the surgery, walking out of the office, you are in pain. Not major pain, but pain like you have 2 major deep cuts over your eyes with stitches (well, cause you do). Your eyes will be extremely swollen, and will look even smaller than they did before the surgery. It will be depressing to look in the mirror for awhile.
