Does Ascent Fax 1.0 support failover?

Yes, Ascent Fax 1.0 supports failover. Currently, this is only possible with a TOPCALL Fax Server, whose core component is the TCOSS Server. To connect to applications via Web Services, an additional component is required: TWS (TOPCALL Web Services). Ascent Fax is connected to one instance of TWS, which is then connected to the Primary and the Secondary TCOSS servers as shown below. For more information see chapter “3.3 Fault tolerant systems” in the TOPCALL TWS manual.
