Does artificial grass get warmer than natural grass?
A. Yes, on average artificial grass is approzimately 10 degrees warmer than natural grass. Except the extreme temperatures in July, August, and September where it is like everything else outside…..HOT. We add sand as an infill in order to allow the homeowner to spray down the synthetic thus cooking the artificial turf down.
