Does artifical leather made for animal hide?
(I’m sure you dont particularly like my occupation- but restoring leather saves from buying new leather) But to answer the question, it is not as “dumb” as everyone is making out…there is “Bicast Leather” which is legislated against in certain countries as being sold as “leather” but must be sold as a synthetic- because it does have essentially a vinyl top layer that is glued or laminated onto a substrate…but that substrate is split leather fibres…yes…from a Cow….so you may think you are buying Vegan friendly furniture but you are not. So there…you do have a valid question Karen, and although our views differ I hope my answer has helped.
