Does Art-Care expect a conservator to give a treatment plan and or a cost of treatment, without actually examining the object?
Absolutely not. Art-care simply provides the structure for a communication between the conservator and client. The rest is up to the conservator. Art-Care has a special application that allows for more precise digital display, however well the object may be photographed and verbally described , a precise, even ball park treatment plan and cost would certainly not be realistic or recommended.
